CTL300E ilaser

Set or read the CTL300E laser current setpoints in mA.

CTL300E has two laser-current channels. The command uses normal write access. With no argument, ilaser prints both channel setpoints as <channel0_mA> <channel1_mA>. With one argument, it sets channel 0. With two arguments, it sets channel 0 from the first value and channel 1 from the second value.

Each requested current must be from 0.0 through the current ilmax value. Out-of-range values are invalid for the addressed channel and leave the previous setpoint unchanged. If the requested value would overflow the laser-current DAC calibration range, the command reports a laser DAC overflow error and keeps the previous setpoint for that channel.

Notes

Changing ilaser can immediately update the CTL300E laser-current DAC output for the addressed channel. Before enabling the laser with lason, verify ilmax, the active bias selection, interlock behavior, thermal conditions, supply settings, and the connected laser rating.
