stmsk
Read or set the active binary status mask.
With no argument, stmsk prints the current 64-bit mask in hexadecimal. With one hexadecimal argument of up to 16 hex digits, it sets the active runtime binary status mask immediately and prints the resulting value. The mask must be non-zero and must not include unsupported bits. Invalid arguments set the command error and leave the previous mask unchanged.

Changing stmsk changes the active fields used by %. Use fmt% immediately after changing the mask so the host decoder uses the matching field selection.
Use save after changing stmsk if the status mask should be restored at boot. Without save, the new mask is runtime-only. The saved value is loaded only when the CFG switch is set to 1 at boot.
