The absolute maximum voltage on the DC modulation input is +/-3 V DC.
With a sine wave applied to the DC modulation input, the absolute maximum amplitude is +/-4.2 V.
These are damage limits, not the specified modulation or saturation ranges. Applying voltages above these limits can damage the board. Clamp or otherwise limit the modulation source if it may exceed them.
