No. The TB300 breakout board is not required to operate the CTL300E or CTL300P.
The TB300 provides a convenient way to access the power supply, serial interface, modulation input, interlock and other signals available on the controller's 20-pin connector.
For integration into a custom system, the CTL300E and CTL300P can instead be connected directly using a compatible mating connector.
Compatible Samtec mating connectors include:
- FSH-110-04-L-RA-SL
- FSH-110-04-L-DH-SL
