Install Vivado HLx 2017.2 WebPACK on Ubuntu

  1. Download Vivado HLx 2017.2: WebPACK and Editions - Linux Self Extracting Web Installer.

  2. Open a terminal and run:

    $ chmod +x Xilinx_Vivado_SDK_2017.2_0616_1_Lin64.bin
$ sudo ./Xilinx_Vivado_SDK_2017.2_0616_1_Lin64.bin

  3. Follow instructions until prompted to select edition to install. Select Vivado HL WebPACK.

  4. Customize your installation. Include Design Tools > Software Development Kit (SDK).

  5. Select the installation directory and follow instructions.
